If that changes
Before we share anyone's information with a lender, this page will list that lender first: its full legal name, its NMLS ID, and the states where it is licensed. The form will name the lender, and we will ask for your separate permission. If a lender is not listed here, we have not sent it your information.
How to find and check a lender yourself
- Find FHA-approved HECM lenders with HUD's Lender List Search.
- Check any loan officer's or company's license at NMLS Consumer Access.
- Talk with a HUD-approved counselor before you apply: hud.gov/counseling or (800) 569-4287.
