The best way to reach Clear Reverse is by email at hello@clearreverse.com. We don't have a phone line yet. Email us about our guides, corrections, a free guide that didn't arrive, or a privacy request. For advice about your own loan, talk with a HUD-approved housing counselor.
What to email us about
- Questions about our guides or the estimator
- Corrections: if something in a guide looks wrong or out of date, tell us which page
- Your free guide didn't arrive
- Privacy requests: to see, correct or delete the information you sent us (see our Privacy Policy)
Please don't email your Social Security number, bank or card details, or health information.
What we can't help with
We are an education site, not a lender or counselor, so we can't give advice about your own loan or quote a rate. For free or low-cost advice about your situation, talk with a HUD-approved housing counselor: hud.gov/counseling or (800) 569-4287.
What should you put in your email?
Tell us which page you mean and what you'd like us to check or change.
- For a question about a guide: the guide's title and your question. We can explain what a guide says and point you to its sources, but we can't tell you whether a reverse mortgage is right for you.
- For a correction: the page address, the sentence that looks wrong, and a link to the source you're relying on, if you have one. We check it against the primary source and update the page and its date if we got it wrong.
- For a missing guide: the email address you used on the form. Check your spam folder first.
- For a privacy request: what you want us to do (show, correct or delete your information). See our Privacy Policy.
Where can you get help with your own loan?
A HUD-approved housing counselor, your loan servicer, or the CFPB can help with your own situation; we can't.
- Advice about your options: a HUD-approved housing counselor, at hud.gov/counseling or (800) 569-4287.
- Finding an FHA-approved lender: the HUD Lender List Search can show lenders that have made a HECM in the past 12 months.
- A problem with a lender or servicer: you can file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at consumerfinance.gov/complaint or (855) 411-2372. The CFPB says it sends complaints to the company for a response, and that most companies respond within 15 days.
- Suspected financial exploitation of an older adult: the CFPB points to the Eldercare Locator at (800) 677-1116 to find the state or local agency that handles reports.
CFPB complaint details checked on consumerfinance.gov/complaint on October 31, 2026.
